Two calls and a build. About two weeks, start to finish.
One call to find out what you do and whether I can help. Seven to ten business days while I build. One more call the day it goes live. That's the whole process, and this page walks through every part of it.
$297 a month. No setup fee. No contract. Cancel anytime.
Call, build, launch.
Nothing here is a surprise. You'll know what the next step is before you're done with the one you're on.
-
The first call, 20 minutes
You book a time, I call you. I ask what you do, where you'll drive, what a normal job is worth, and what happens right now when the phone rings while you're working. At the end I tell you what I'd build and what it costs. Twenty minutes, and you can take it from the truck.
-
The build, 7 to 10 business days
Ten to twenty pages on a domain in your name. Services, service areas, your own photos, a phone number that's easy to tap on a cracked screen. I send you a link partway through. You tell me what's wrong and I fix it. I also file the carrier paperwork for texting on day one, because that clock is the slow one.
-
The launch call, 25 minutes
We get on the phone and the site goes live while we're talking. I show you where a new lead lands, how a form fill reaches you, and what the review request looks like before it goes to a customer. Then I hand you the login and you go back to work.
The first call is a sales call.
I'm not going to put a softer name on it. I'm trying to sell you something, and you should get on the phone knowing that.
What that means, plainly
It is not a free audit. It is not a strategy session. It's twenty minutes with the guy who wants your $297 a month, and pretending otherwise would be a bad way to start.
Here's the part that makes it worth your time anyway. I only have room for so many builds, and a customer who shouldn't have bought is worse for me than a call that ends in no. So if I don't think this helps you, I'll say it on that call. If your phone is already ringing more than you can handle, I'll tell you to keep your money.
Nobody puts you on a list. Nobody calls you back six times. If you say no, that's the end of it.
What I'll ask you
- What you actually do, in your words
- How far you'll drive for a job
- What a normal job is worth to you
- What happens now when you can't pick up
- Where your work comes from today
What I won't do on it
No screen share, no slides, no countdown, no price that changes if you decide tomorrow instead of today. $297 is $297 either way.
This builds a foundation. It is not a miracle.
I'd rather you read this now than find it out in week three and ask for your money back. Both of us come out ahead if you know what you're getting.
What it does
- Gives you a real website on a domain that belongs to you, not a page you rent from somebody who can change the rules.
- Catches the call you couldn't answer and sends a text back while the person is still holding their phone.
- Gets a new inquiry contacted right away instead of the next morning.
- Asks for the review after the job is done, without you having to remember.
- Puts the calls, the texts, and the form fills in one place so nothing sits in an inbox and dies.
- Does the on-site SEO work properly, on your own site, where it belongs.
What it does not do
- It does not make a quiet phone start ringing. It answers the phone you already have.
- It is not advertising. I don't run ads and this doesn't buy you traffic.
- It won't put you at the top of a results page. I won't promise that and you should be careful with anyone who will.
- It won't fix a price that's too high, a crew that shows up late, or a callback you never returned.
- It doesn't work by itself. When somebody texts back, you still have to answer them.
Who this works best for
Somebody whose phone already rings and who keeps missing it. On a roof, under a house, in an attic, hands full, truck loud. The calls are already coming. They're just landing in voicemail and going nowhere.
If nothing is coming in at all, a website and a text-back won't create demand out of nothing, and I'm not going to sell you the idea that it will. That's a different problem and I'd tell you so on the call.
What I need from you, and how little of it there is.
You are running a business. You don't have a marketing afternoon to give me. So the list is short and most of it you already have on your phone.
The four things
- Photos of your own work. Whatever's in your camera roll. Finished jobs, the truck, the crew, a before and an after. Text them to me. Crooked and real beats a stock photo of somebody else's roof every time.
- Your service list. Everything you'll take money for. If there's work you'd rather not do anymore, tell me and I'll leave it off.
- Your service area. The towns and neighborhoods you'll actually drive to. Where you draw the line matters as much as where you go.
- Your hours and how to reach you. When you answer, when you don't, whether you take emergency calls, and the number that should ring.
What your time actually costs
- 20 minutes on the first call
- 10 or 15 minutes sending photos and answering the questions above
- A few minutes looking over the draft and telling me what's wrong
- 25 minutes on the launch call
What I don't need
You don't have to write copy. You don't have to pick fonts or colors. You don't have to know what a domain registrar is. I write it, I build it, you tell me where I got your business wrong and I fix it.
What turns on the day you launch, and what waits two weeks.
Anything that sends a text message has to clear carrier registration first. That takes one to four weeks and there is no way to buy your way past it. I file it the day you sign up so the clock starts as early as it can.
| What it is | When it works |
|---|---|
| Your website, 10 to 20 pages | Launch day |
| On-site SEO | Built in before launch day |
| The contact form, landing in one place with your calls and texts | Launch day |
| New lead follow-up by email | Launch day |
| Review requests by email | Launch day |
| Missed-call text-back | About two weeks in, after carrier approval |
| Follow-up and review requests by text | About two weeks in, after carrier approval |
| One-click campaigns to your customer list | Email at launch. Text about two weeks in. |
Your text-back turns on in about two weeks. I say two because that's what it usually runs, and I'd rather tell you two and be early than tell you tomorrow and be wrong. If the carriers come back asking for something, I handle it and I tell you where it stands.
Try it for 30 days. If you don't want it, for any reason, tell me and I'll refund the month. No conditions.
That's the whole guarantee. There isn't a second page to it.
- The 30 days start the day your site goes live. Not the day you sign up, and not the day you pay. You don't burn your window waiting on me to build.
- Any reason counts. You don't like the look of it. You changed your mind. Work got slow. You don't have to explain it to me.
- Tell me and I refund the month. No form to hunt down, no retention call, no conditions.
- If you take the refund, the site comes down. That's the trade, and I'd rather say it now than surprise you later.
Past the 30 days it's still month to month. No contract, cancel anytime, and the site comes down when you stop. That's the honest shape of a monthly arrangement and I say it out loud before you pay me anything.
Straight answers
What happens between the two calls? Do I need to be available?
Not really. I build, you work. Partway through I send you a link and ask you to look it over. Read it on your phone at lunch, tell me what I got wrong about your business, and I fix it. If you go quiet for two days it doesn't break anything.
Can you go faster than 7 to 10 business days?
No. Seven to ten business days is what it takes to do ten to twenty pages properly, and I'm not going to promise Friday and hand you something thin. The texting piece takes about two weeks on top of that no matter how fast either of us moves, because that part isn't up to me.
What if I don't have any photos?
Tell me on the first call. We build with what you have and you send more as you finish jobs. I'd rather put up your crooked photo of a real roof than a stock picture of a house in a state you've never worked in.
Do I need to already have a domain?
No. If you have one, we use it and it stays in your name. If you don't, we pick one on the first call and it goes in your name. That part is not negotiable on my end. You own the address.
Who am I actually dealing with?
Me. Drew. One guy in Pensacola, not an agency. Same person on the first call, the build, the launch call, and the day something breaks a year from now. That's the upside and it's also the limit, which is why I can only take on so many builds at a time.
Has this all run before?
The website part, yes. Fortified Assets is the first client and their site is fortified-assets.com, twenty-four pages, live right now. I built their Google Business Profile from nothing too, no listing and no photos on the day I started. Go look at it and fill out the form if you want to see where it lands.
The monthly pieces behind the site are new, and you'd be early. I'm not going to quote you results I don't have. The 30 days is there so being early costs you nothing.
Tell me what you do and I'll show you what your setup would look like.
Book a time. First call is twenty minutes and it's a sales call. If I don't think this helps you, I'll say so and you can get back to work.
$297 a month. No setup fee. No contract. Cancel anytime. Try it 30 days from go-live and I'll refund the month if you don't want it.
