What I collect, and what I do with it.

Who you're dealing with

Summit Intake Systems is the name on the door. Summit Intake Systems LLC is the legal entity behind it. It is one person, Drew, working out of Pensacola, Florida. When this page says I, that's who it means. There is no staff and no call center.

What the form on this site collects

The contact form asks for a short list of things, and you type all of them yourself:

• Your name.
• Your business name.
• Your phone number.
• The town you work out of.
• The best time to reach you.
• Whatever you write in the box about what's going on right now.
• Whether you checked the box giving me permission to text you.

That's it. No credit card, no address, no questions about your revenue. If you'd rather not put any of it in a form, the phone number and the email address are at the bottom of every page and I'll take it that way instead.

What gets collected without you typing it

The company that serves these pages keeps ordinary server logs: the address your request came from, the browser you used, which page you asked for, and when. That is how every website on earth works, mine included, and it's kept for a short window for security and troubleshooting.

I don't set advertising cookies. There is no tracking script, no session recording, no pixel from a social network, and nothing stored in your browser by me. If the host sets a technical cookie to deliver the page, it isn't used to follow you anywhere else.

What I use it for

• Answering you. That's the main one.
• Telling you what I'd build, what it would cost, and whether I think you need it.
• Running the service if you sign up: the site, the text-back, follow-up on new inquiries, review requests, and messages to your customer list.
• Billing you the $297 and keeping the records a business has to keep.
• Texting you, but only if you checked the box. That's covered on the SMS Terms page.

I don't use your information to build a list I sell. I don't use it to advertise at you across the internet. If you tell me no thanks, the only thing left is a record that you asked and I answered.

Texts and calls

If you check the consent box, I can text you about your inquiry and your account. The contents of those texts, and the record of which calls came in and how long they ran, sit with the messaging company that carries them for me. That's unavoidable, the same way a phone company has your call log.

Your mobile number and your written permission to be texted are not sold, rented, or handed to anybody else for their own marketing. Not to a partner, not to an affiliate, not to a data broker. If that ever changed, it would take a new version of this page and your fresh permission, and I'd rather it just never change.

The outside companies that touch it

I'm one guy. I don't run my own servers, and you wouldn't want me to. A few outside companies handle pieces of this, and each one only sees the part it needs:

• The host. Serves the pages and keeps the server logs.
• The form handler. Carries what you typed from the page to me and files it in one place with the calls and texts.
• The messaging and phone provider. Sends the texts, connects the calls, and handles the carrier registration that business texting requires.
• The payment processor. Runs the $297 charge if you become a client. I never see or store your full card number.
• Email. Ordinary business email, the same as everybody's.

Each of them is bound by their own agreement to handle it for me and not for themselves. I pick them for that reason and I'll name the specific companies to any client who asks.

Beyond that, I'd only hand over information if a court or a law made me, and I'd tell you it happened unless I was ordered not to.

If you're a client, your customers' information is yours

When I run review requests or a message to your customer list, I'm handling your customers' names and numbers on your behalf. That list belongs to you. It doesn't get mixed with anyone else's, it doesn't get marketed to by me, and you can ask for a copy of it any time you want. Ask me to delete it when you leave and I delete it.

You're the one responsible for having permission to message the people on your list. That's spelled out in the Terms.

How long I keep it

• You filled out the form and we never did business. I keep the inquiry for 24 months, then it goes. If you'd like it gone sooner, say so and it's gone that week.
• You became a client. I keep your account records while you're a client and for three years after you leave, because billing and tax records have to exist.
• Text and call records. Kept as long as the messaging provider keeps them, which is measured in months, not decades.
• Server logs. Short. Days to weeks, set by the host.
• Your opt-in record. Kept as long as I might text you, plus a stretch after, because I have to be able to prove you said yes.

How to see it, fix it, or have it deleted

Email andrewaltrip@gmail.com and tell me what you want. You can ask me to send you a copy of what I have on you, correct something that's wrong, or delete the whole thing.

I'll confirm I got the request within a few days and finish it inside 30 days. It's free. There's no form to hunt down and no phone tree. The only thing I can't delete is a record I'm legally required to keep, like an invoice, and if that comes up I'll tell you exactly what's staying and why.

If you're a client and you ask for deletion, understand that deleting your account information ends the service. I'll say that out loud before I do anything irreversible.

Kids

This is a service for people who own service businesses. It isn't for children, and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you think a child sent me something, email me and I'll delete it.

Security, honestly

Accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor login where it's offered. Access is limited to me. The companies listed above encrypt what they carry.

What I won't tell you is that any of this is unbreakable. No system is. Anyone who promises you a perfect record is guessing. If something ever went wrong with information I hold, I'd tell the people affected, and I'd tell them fast.

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. If a change actually matters to you, and especially if it touches texting, I'll email clients instead of quietly swapping the page.
